J-Tec Material Handling is part of the Katoen Natie group. Katoen Natie is a global logistics and applied engineering provider. To optimally serve its customers, the organization is decentralized in business units. Each business unit acts independently and offers its clients tailor made solutions.

J-Tec Material Handling is the process engineering business unit of the group, offering material handling and process engineering solutions to the industry market leaders, in the chemical and food industries all over the world. We build turnkey process installations for our customers. Our company always strives to make a difference in terms of inventively, flexibility and performance. We execute both green- and brownfield projects of different sizes with an average implementation time of one to two years.

We are a fast-growing company with an international team of more than 350 employees (and counting). We have offices in Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Thailand and the US.

As a professional in sales, commercial activities, and business development, you are passionate about networking and identifying commercial leads within well-defined niches of the process industry, specifically Chemical and Food.

Your goal is to build solid, long-term commercial relationships with both existing and potential clients worldwide. You will represent our organization as the commercial face of the team and act as the first point of contact for customers. When prospects or clients initiate new projects, they will turn to you for technical advice and expert guidance.

You can rely on your internal sales colleagues to follow up on leads and help translate customer needs into tailored, high-quality solutions. To remain top of mind in the market, you closely monitor market trends and conduct in-depth analyses of international business opportunities.

You will report to the Industry Lead, who will support and guide you while also overseeing your personal and professional development.

  • You have several years of relevant experience in B2B sales, preferably within the process engineering business.
  • You hold a higher technical degree (Master’s level).
  • You possess strong analytical and creative skills, combined with excellent communication and language skills (Dutch and English).
  • You adopt a customer-oriented approach with a long-term vision and strong commercial flair. Quality and sustainability are always top of mind.
  • You are able to work independently while also being a true team player. Given the nature of your role, you are flexible, solution-driven, and creative.
  • You are willing to travel internationally and consider this an enriching part of the job.
