J-Tec Material Handling is the process engineering business unit of the KTN-group, a global logistics and applied engineering provider. We are offering material handling
and process engineering solutions to the industry market leaders, in the chemical and food industries all over the world.

We build turnkey process installations for our customers. Our company always strives to make a difference in terms of inventiveness,
flexibility and performance. We execute both green- and brownfield projects of different sizes with an average implementation time of one to two years.

We are a fast-growing company with an international team of more than 270 employees (and counting).
We have offices in Belgium, Spain, Thailand and the US.

You will be part of a creative and highly motivated team responsible for J-Tec’s digital transformation initiatives and further helping our organization to be future-proof. The main objective is to increase our operational efficiency and provide additional value to our customers.

A next important project planned is the implementation of a new ERP system. This project will provide you with an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of our business processes and workflows. This valuable experience will be instrumental in your development towards becoming a successful Digital Transformation project manager. Your responsibilities will be varied and are not limited to the overview below.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Work closely with the project manager and solution owner throughout the ERP implementation process.
  • Analyze in (close) collaboration with end-users and other stakeholders their business needs and translate those into ERP system requirements.
  • Support business process modeling to align the ERP system with organizational workflows.
  • Contribute to ERP blueprint and configuration workshops, document outcomes and manage follow-up of actions, change requests and decisions.
  • Help organize & coordinate user acceptance testing with internal departments.
  • Act as the ERP system administrator, managing user access and system configurations.
  • Contribute to the creation of documentation and training materials for end-users.
  • Help organize, facilitate & coordinate ERP hyper care period after go-live.
  • Provide first-line support for any ERP-related issues or requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Take ownership of the ERP system’s management post-implementation, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement.
  • Keep track of innovations which can be used to optimize our business processes.
  • Act as project manager on ERP related services (integrations): (a) Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. (b) Prepare material for and deliver presentations to projects. (c) Coach/guide change management processes.
  • Contribute to expanding our digital services towards our customers (Customer Portal, Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, …)
  • You understand business needs very well and can bridge the gap between operations and technology.
  • You are able to manage your work independently and coordinate priorities with your stakeholders to achieve the desired result.
  • You have knowledge and experience of tools/systems/processes related to the role (BPMN, Scrum, project management methodologies, …). Knowledge of ERP systems and/or experience with ERP implementations is a plus.
  • You have previous experience in ERP implementation projects, or in other business applications related to project management, manufacturing or service.
  • You are a team player, great communicator, flexible and solution oriented.
  • You have excellent working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
  • You hold a Master/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience and are passionate about technology.
