J-Tec Material Handling is the process engineering business unit of the KTN-group, a global logistics and applied engineering provider. We provide material handling
and process engineering solutions to the industry market leaders, in the chemical and food industries all over the world.

We build turnkey process installations for our customers. Our company always strives to make a difference in terms of inventiveness,
flexibility and performance. We execute both green- and brownfield projects of different sizes with an average implementation time of one to two years.

We are a fast-growing company with an international team of more than 270 employees (and counting).
We have offices in Belgium, Spain, Thailand and the US.

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead the project management department. In this role, you will be responsible to coach, motivate, support and
monitor our team and the ongoing projects. Your focus is to create added value and customer satisfaction by achieving excellence in the delivery of projects.
You will get the opportunity to:

  • coach a motivated and experienced team of project managers and be the point
    of contact for them.
  • guide and advise your team of project managers in organizing and executing
    ongoing projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, scope and
    time.

  • keep an overview on the project progression, report on the status and act as a
    problem solver in complex situations.
  • recruit and retain an extraordinary team and contribute to the overall culture of
    the company.
  • be responsible for the continuous improvement and evaluation of the project
    management team.
  • work closely together with the different departments.
  • further develop the structure, guidelines and templates of projects.
  • report to the Global Director Operations.

  • You are an expert in project management with relevant experience in managing complex and large projects in the chemical and/or food industry or other process engineering relating domains (water treatment, waste treatment,...).
  • Relevant process knowledge.
  • Experience in managing and coaching teams and possess strong communication and people management skills.
  • Skilled in implementing methodologies and processes for project management teams.
  • You are thoughtful and decisive, capable of making strategic decisions in challenging situations or negotiations.
  • Committed to the growth of others.
  • Able to manage stakeholders proactively and build credibility, thrust and long-term relationships.
  • You are customer and quality-oriented, forward-looking and maintain a broad overview.
  • You like to take initiative and work proactively to identify needs in resources, budgets and skills, making recommendations for improvement.
